In shadows deep, a tale of woe I weave, of a girl once wed, her heart deceived.
Three years of vows, a facade so grand, unveiled to find betrayal’s cruel hand.

She danced in dreams of love’s eternal flame, but fate’s cruel jest, her heart would maim.
For within the depths of her lover’s gaze, lay secrets veiled, a forbidden maze.

They wed in bliss, two souls entwined, a tapestry woven with love’s design. But cracks soon formed upon the perfect shell, revealing the truth that would forever dwell.

A whisper carried on the wind’s caress, A rumor whispered in shadows, no less.
Another girl had been the owner of his wayward heart, their disguised moments, a clandestine art.

She stood alone, a broken porcelain doll, her hopes and dreams, now shattered and small.
In the dead of night, she wept bitter tears, for her husband’s mother chose her, not he whom she loved.

Her heart, once vibrant, now a barren land, stripped of joy by love’s relentless hand.
She questioned her worth, her very being, Why wasn’t she enough to keep him from fleeing?
No, he didn’t leave, because he was never there.
The vows were a filial deal, not a proclamation of love and dare.

The echoes of their laughter haunted her mind, as she discovered the truth, so unkind.
For even after the vows, he would not cease, to share his bed with another, in peace.

Days turned to nights, and nights to despair; a silent storm raged, consuming her air.
Her heart, a fragile vessel, lay in ruin, shattered hopes and dreams, a bitter perfume.

In time, she found solace, a balm for her pain, wrapped in self-love, she’d never love in vain.
For scars may linger, etched upon her soul, But strength and resilience had taken their toll.

And so she stood by the moonlit lake, to find the true villain of her fate.
Was it the mother who felt responsible for the happiness of her son?
Or the son who couldn’t abandon the woman, his only one?
Or was it she who was naive, to believe a broken vow wrapped in treasures so great?
